LaLiga is now more accessible than ever before to those throughout the UK, following the announcement of an all-new broadcasting deal.

Beginning with Real Madrid’s 2-1 win over Levante, Spain’s top-flight league will be broadcast weekly on ITV4, as well as having a midweek highlights programme.

The reception has been fantastic from fans, who will now have access to see European giants Barcelona and Real Madrid live in action on a regular basis, until the end of the season.

This announcement marks yet another exciting addition to ITV Sport’s portfolio, alongside coverage of the 6 Nations, World Cup, European Championship, Tour de France, French Open, horse racing, world-class boxing, Rugby World Cup and more.

ITV’s Director of Sport, Niall Slone, said: “This is good news for football fans who will be able to see on free to air television some of the world’s best players in action for some of the world’s biggest clubs in a league known for its high levels of skill and entertainment from now until the end of the season.”
