2023 F1 Calendar Announced
The 2023 season will see F1 host 24 Grand Prix races for the first time ever!
The newly announced calendar sees a debut Grand Prix in Las Vegas and returning races in China and Qatar. The season starts with the Bahrain GP on March 5 and finishes in Abu Dhabi on November 26.
Although fans will enjoy even more races, there is some concern about putting a further strain on teams, especially those that are currently struggling with this year’s format. The initial reaction from the teams is generally good with the calendar as it stands, although there is some anxiety about the back-to-back race weekends.
The calendar was approved by the FIA and the World Motor Sport Council and revealed by F1’s governing body on Tuesday.
