Adidas Continue Growth Alongside China’s Ministry Of Education

Adidas have launched a new initiative to send China’s most talented young footballers to training camps at FC Bayern Munich.

As part of Adidas’ partnership with China’s Ministry of Education (MOE), the brand will bring budding Chinese talent over to FC Bayern Munich’s headquarters for a three-day training camp before representing China in the FC Bayern Youth Cup.

Growing the brand’s presence enormously throughout China with last year’s TV series, Adidas is quickly becoming increasingly desirable through the brand’s involvement in the sport throughout China, setting out to inspire a generation and get young footballers involved in the game.

Managing Director of Adidas Asia-Pacific and Greater China, Colin Currie, said: “China’s participation in the FC Bayern Youth Cup World Finals provides an encouraging sign that our longstanding grassroots football partnership with the Chinese Ministry of Education is bearing fruit.

“Adidas believes that, through sport, we have the power to change lives. We will continue to work closely alongside the MOE, as well as partners such as FC Bayern Munich and our extensive portfolio of world-class football assets, to help accelerate China’s football development and nurture a generation of future world-class talent.”
